Buying an Apple Watch band for someone else?

If you're an Occupational Therapist, support worker, plan manager, family member or purchasing on behalf of an NDIS participant, choosing the right Apple Watch band can be a little different from buying one for yourself.

We've put together this guide to help you find the right fit, size and material before placing your order.

Pricing & Ordering

All of our Apple Watch bands are available to purchase directly through our website, with pricing clearly displayed on each product.

Simply choose the band you'd like, select the compatible Apple Watch size and add it to your cart.

Our standard shipping and returns policies apply to NDIS and healthcare professional orders.

Need an invoice?

Your order confirmation and receipt will be emailed to you after your order is placed, which can be retained for your records or provided to the relevant accounts or plan management team.

If you require additional information about an order, please contact our customer care team at info@thesaltyfox.com.au

What you need to know before buying

1. Find the Right Apple Watch Size

The most important detail when buying an Apple Watch band is the size of the watch.

If you select the wrong size option, the band won't attach correctly to the Apple Watch.

Apple Watch bands are generally compatible across multiple generations, provided the case size is compatible.

Not sure what size it is?

If you have access to the paired iPhone, you can check the Apple Watch model and case size through the Watch app, or you can follow our Apple Watch band size guide here.

You can also contact us if you're unsure which size to select!

2. Choose the right band

Once you've confirmed the Apple Watch size, the next consideration is choosing a band that suits the wearer.

There isn't one band that's right for everyone. Consider how the Apple Watch will be worn, how often it needs to be removed and what type of fastening and material will be most comfortable.

Looking for something easy to put on and take off?

OurAccessibility collection brings together Apple Watch bands selected with ease of use in mind.

These styles feature different fastening and adjustment designs that can make putting on and removing an Apple Watch simpler.

BROWSE ACCESSIBILITY RANGE

Need a different length?

Wrist sizes can vary considerably, so it's important to check the sizing information for the individual band before ordering.

For a more accurate fit, measure the wrist where the Apple Watch will normally sit.

How to measure

Wrap a soft measuring tape around the wrist without pulling it tight.

Don't have a measuring tape? Use a piece of string or paper, mark where it meets and then measure the length against a ruler.

The measurement you get is the approximate wrist circumference.

Smaller wrists

If the wearer has a smaller wrist, check the minimum wrist circumference listed on the product page to make sure the band can be adjusted sufficiently.

You can also view our smaller wrist range here:

Larger wrists

For larger wrists, check the maximum wrist circumference listed on the product page before ordering.

If you're unsure whether a particular band will fit, contact us before purchasing, and we'll help you find the right option.
